Hayley

This work was a documentary assignment, where I had to find someone and document there lives and produce a body of work. In this I did not simply show what they do in their spare time or there hobbies. I chose to add a personal element to it, and expressed my feelings and thoughts about the subject in my photographs. I used a Pentax 35mm film camera with a flashgun.

Death at a graveyard

These photographs are of a local graveyard in Gosport at midnight. Some of the photographs were taken with a flashgun; others were taken with a long exposure. This needs a tripod than can hold your camera and to manually change your camera settings to make your shutter speed longer and to open up you’re aperture. I wanted to take photographs of graveyards because I have always liked the idea of photographing graves as you are taking a picture of the last resting place of that particular persons body, which could be argued as documentary. Either documenting graves or am I in fact documenting the miscellaneous the unknowing and indescribable reality of death. In addition capturing the writing that is in essence a small part of their bibliography.  Think about it. Enjoy.

WAR

These 3 pieces that I have created, with the use of Photoshop is a photomontage and is about war. Each montage shows MY feels and opinions. One shows MY options why war starts, one shows the destruction it creates at home, and the other shows the destruction abroad. I made these last year in my first year at uni, and all the images are found on the internet.

Red Arrows

I went to see Farnborough air show this year (2010) and took some pictures of the red arrows however I only took a 50mm lens with me, so all these images are of the red arrows doing there thing. As I just had a 50mm lens I have to say I think I did a good job considering they are jets.  I hope you like them.

Turkey

These images were taken around turkey's shore line on a Guilt boat. I was travaling around and talking photos of places that i visited.
The camera used was a Canon EOS 450D with the use of different lenses and techniques. So i hope you enjoy.

Fashion

This work was done to help out a mate doing her final piece for her Advertising course at uni. The project was aimed at creating an adverting campaign for Asos the online fashion store. The final pieces that I gave her I can not show however I held some back, for my self which I can show you, if your interested. Some info about the shoot i used a conon Eos 450D with a 70-300mm lense, and the model is the same through all the shoot.
